SideStop is a smarter platform for home-based sellers and shop owners across Singapore. Think of it as a local food market — but online. Browse merchants, pre-order for same-day or next-day pickup, and support local sellers.

Browse merchants and add items to your cart. Choose self-pickup or merchant delivery, then pay securely via PayNow or credit card. The merchant accepts your order, prepares it, and notifies you when it's ready. It's pre-order, not instant delivery — so your food is freshly prepared.

We accept PayNow (Singapore bank transfer) and credit/debit cards via Stripe. PayNow is the default and recommended option — it's fast, secure, and widely used in Singapore.

It depends on the merchant. Some offer their own delivery within a set radius, while others are pickup-only. You can see the delivery options on each merchant's store page. Platform delivery integration (Lalamove, GrabExpress) is coming soon.

Visit our "Become a Merchant" page and fill in the application form. It takes about 5 minutes. We review applications within 1-2 days. Once approved, you can set up your menu and start receiving orders. Our commission starts at just 5% — much lower than delivery apps.

We offer three tiers: Free ($0/month, 5% commission), Premium ($49/month, 4% commission — includes AI photo generation, premium badge, and priority listing), and Ultimate ($99/month, 3% commission — includes all Premium features plus AI customer service chatbot, review reply suggestions, and logo design).

Merchants are paid daily via Stripe Connect. After each order, the platform fee is deducted automatically, and the remainder is deposited into the merchant's bank account the next business day.

Once an order is placed and paid, customers cannot cancel directly. If you need to make changes, contact the merchant via WhatsApp (link available on the order page). If the merchant cancels your order, you receive a full automatic refund.

SideStop is a marketplace — individual merchants set their own food standards. Merchants can upload halal certifications during onboarding, and halal-certified merchants are tagged on the platform. Always check the merchant's profile for certification details.

We comply with Singapore's Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA). Sensitive information like phone numbers and addresses are encrypted in our database. Even our admin team sees only masked data. You can request account deletion at any time from your profile settings.
