A smarter platform for home-based sellers and shop owners
SideStop started with a simple observation: some of the best food in Singapore never makes it past the kitchen door. Home-based cooks across the island prepare incredible dishes every day — nasi lemak, kueh, curry puffs, artisan bread — but reaching customers beyond word-of-mouth and WhatsApp groups has always been a struggle.
We built SideStop to change that. Our platform connects home-based food sellers with customers across Singapore through a simple pre-order marketplace. Merchants list their menus, customers browse and order, and food gets picked up fresh — no middleman logistics, no massive platform fees eating into a home cook's livelihood.
We are a small team based in Singapore. We are not trying to compete with the big delivery apps. Instead, we focus on what they overlook: the aunty in Tampines whose pandan cake sells out every weekend, the home baker in Bukit Timah whose sourdough has a cult following, the uncle in Toa Payoh whose chicken rice rivals any hawker stall. These are the merchants we serve.
